A good Oak Wainscot c. 1670 with scroll patterned Cresting rail, the carved back with centre rose and down swept arms with turned supports. The turned legs are joined by traditional stretchers. It has various repairs and restoration as you would expect with a rare chair of this age.  This is a really good 17th century Wainscot Chair.
