    An Oak c. 17th century Wainscot with good carved quadrifoil leaf pattern to the back panel, lozenge pattern to the legs and a bobbin style stretcher. the chair has had a lot of worm but this old and the chair is firm, one of the feet has been tipped the seat has had a small repair. The chair has I believe been painted with some kind of polish but has a really good patina.

    It has initials “PB” impressed on the back of the chair.
