A wonderful pair of Chinese paintings on Pith paper. Illustrating on the right in the black hat Shizu Shunzhi (1630-1661) and on the left Wenzong Xianfeng (1831 – 1861) both emperor’s of the Qing Dynasty imperial Court (the last imperial dynasty of China (from 1644 to 1912) which was overthrown by revolutionaries; during the Qing dynasty China was ruled by the Manchu). These would make wonderful interior design pieces and are in excellent condition.
