Victorian cast iron stick stand with registration numbers on the back, base and drip tray for 1889. Realistically painted using traditional colouring.
The stick stand represents the figure of William Wallace, the Scottish hero in the background with his name below and some thistles above it. The stick stand has a decorative top and open diamond fretwork which is supported by a stylised pilaster. Below is a drip tray with a rope decoration edge and again a similar decoration each side of it.
