A very collectable and attractive piece of Isle of Wight Glass, being that it carries the ‘Coachbolt’ pontil mark to the base, which was used very briefly during the establishment of the Glass studio on the Isle of Wight in 1973, before they began to use the ‘flame’ pontil mark which continued for the rest of the 1970’s. This piece is in excellent condition and catches the light beautifully with some captured bubbles and attractive colourway.
Measures 10cm high by 13cm wide
Isle of Wight Glass was founded in 1972 by Michael Harris when he returned from Malta where he and his business partner Eric Dobson set up Mdina Glass, we have several pieces of both Isle of Wight and Mdina glass in our stock list for sale.
