This an unusual ‘side stripe’ lollipop vase, showing styling of ‘Mdina Glass’ and ‘Azurine’ colouring of Isle of Wight Glass with gold leaf overlay, unsigned by clearly under the influence of Michael Harris in the 1970’s.
Measures 23cm tall, 14cm wide and 9cm deep
Isle of Wight Glass was founded in 1972 by Michael Harris when he returned from Malta where he and his business partner Eric Dobson set up Mdina Glass, we have several pieces of both Isle of Wight and Mdina glass in our stock list for sale.
