This is an outstanding occasional drop-leaf table with four drop sides, the marquetry is of the very highest quality and although faded slightly over 150 years or so, it is visually outstanding. It is supported on reeded legs with gilt brass embellishment.

The table itself is extremely sturdy with the supports to the leaves working perfectly and firmly with no movement. There is an unusual finial to the centre of the lower stretchers. This is an extremely elegant and refined piece of fine furniture which would grace any stylish home.
