A beautiful example of a piece of early "Tortoiseshell" Isle of Wight Glass, dating to the 1970's with the 'flame' pontil mark of that time. Featuring numerous enclosed bubbles, some larger than usual, it is a captivating piece of glass (in our opinion!). Changing colour depending on the light, it would sit well on a windowsill or cabinet and look different in any light.
